Areas of Interest
My research interests include synthesis, properties and
functionality evaluations of renewable materials such as
fats, oils, carbohydrates for food and industrial applications.
The current research involves development of novel pretreatment
technologies to overcome the recalcitrance of cellulosic
biomass into fermentable sugars for biofuels and bioproducts
and the development of bio-renewable plasticizers.
