Areas of Interest

My background includes home inspection, real estate, and home building. I returned to the Univerity of Minnesota and completed a masters degree in 1996 with a housing major and building science minor. My thesis work and continued research is in the area of moisture control and indoor air quality. I have been teaching since 1996 in the departments of Bio-based Products and Design, Housing and Apparel.
