Email and Directory Options (http://www.umn.edu/validate) Blocked email - if you suspect someone has tried to email you, but you haven't received it, or if someone calls to tell you their email was blocked by the U of M, go to Email and directory options and check the category called "Show Blocked Incoming Email". Your correspondent's email address may be on the list, in which case you have an option to unblock it. There is always a reason associated with the blocking, for example "DNS." You can click on that to read the reason. You may want to copy and send that text to the correspondent, so they can pass it along to their Information Technology people. The U is becoming more and more aggressive about blocking emails. Is your mailbox full?
