Midwest Rural Energy Council 2001 Conference

The Midwest Rural Energy Council (MREC) will be holding its 2001 Conference on February 22-23, 2001 at the Ramada Inn near the intersection of I94 and White Bear Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota. The program includes presentations on anaerobic digestion for electrical power generation, agricultural lighting, robotic milking, dairy expansion, wiring, and power quality. MREC includes investor-owned utilities, rural electric cooperatives, and representatives from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Minnesota. Through the cooperative efforts of its members, MREC initiates, develops, supports, and coordinates education, research, and communication programs on significant and emerging rural energy issues for consumers, energy suppliers, and allied industries.
