Natural-Air Corn Drying in the Upper Midwest, BU-6577-E, by William F. Wilcke and R. Vance Morey is hot off the press and available for distribution (Distribution Center: 612-625-8173). This 20-page bulletin is a major revision to the old natural-air corn drying bulletin. Although the new version is longer and includes more details on the concept of probability of drying success, we tried to write it in what we hope is an easier to read question and answer format, and we included a glossary. Since some of our neighboring states do not have grain drying specialists, we also tried to make the material useful beyond Minnesota's borders.
I encourage you to take a look at the new bulletin and to let farmers, consultants, ag instructors, rural electric personnel, and equipment dealers know that it is available. We're interested in hearing your comments and customer comments on the bulletin.
