Objective

The objective of the project is to develop a cost effective aeration treatment to control odor emission from open liquid manure storages.

Need or Impact

Lagoons and earthen basins are still widely used to store manure in the nation, which calls for effective techniques to control offensive odors emanating from these facilities.
