Objective

The objective of this research is to evaluate the physical, thermal, morphological, and functional properties of chitosan and aliphatic polyester blends as a function of various process conditions and compositions.

Need or Impact

These blends could have applications because of the bioactivity of chitosan. These blends may be used as synthetic analog in tissue applications.

Project Status

In progress.
