Objective

The objective of this statewide program is to provide information about environmentally sound and economically feasible use of animal manure and wastes to animal producers in Minnesota.

Need or Impact

Manure management information is required for the modern animal producer to meet mandatory state and federal governmental regulations in the storage, handling, and utilization of animal manure and waste products. The proper management of manure and other waste is needed for both water and air quality concerns.
