John Shutske and Bruce Wilson
have been promoted to full professor.
Judy Weicherding and Barb Oliver
received Department Outstanding Civil Service Awards for 2002-2003.
Stacey Madsen Jenkins resigned in August
to move to Dubuque, Iowa, with her husband Tom, as he prepared
to enter the seminary. Although Stacey was only with the department
for a little under three years, in her work as an undergraduate
recruiter she touched many students by providing mentoring
and a friendly face. Stacey’s job was divided between
her recruiting activities and duties as an educator with the
Agricultural Safety and Health Program. Stacey is the daughter
of Murray Madsen (BAE 1973). Ketty Mc Daniel,
senior from Kaukauna, Wisconsin, has taken over some of Stacey’s
recruiting activities.
Brian Hetchler (BAE 1995, MS 2001) has rejoined
the department as a research fellow in the livestock odor
and air quality area.
