ASAE Minnesota Section
The ASAE Minnesota Section held its fall meeting in the department
on October 31, 2003. Bob Gustafson, national ASAE president
and a former faculty member, was in the Twin Cities for another
meeting and was able to attend and hold an informal forum
on issues affecting ASAE on a national basis. Angie Hadrits
from 3M shared the results of research and product development
for reflective and luminescent signs and markings. The next
meeting is scheduled for April 2004.
Minnesota Section Officers Ron Leaf (BS 1992, MS 1994, SEH,
Inc., St. Paul), Assistant Professor Jun Zhu, Chris Beach
(Pioneer), Sonia Jacobsen (BS 1978, NRCS, St. Paul), John
Brach (NRCS, St. Paul), Professor Roger Ruan (current Minnesota
Section President), and ASAE National President Bob Gustafson
(former professor 1976-1987, now Associate Dean for Academic
Affairs and Student Services, College of Engineering, Ohio
State).
