Undergraduate Program is Reaccredited
The undergraduate biosystems and agricultural engineering program was
reaccredited in 2002 by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC)
of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Nine
undergraduate engineering programs in the Institute of Technology, including
the biosystems and agricultural engineering program, were reviewed in
December 2001. The review involved an extensive self-study report and
a site visit. The result was reaccredidation. Congratulations go to the
faculty and staff for all of their hard work. A special commendation goes
to Vance Morey, who provided outstanding leadership and guidance through
the entire process. More information about ABET and the accreditation
