Dr. Anu Subramanian joined the faculty as an assistant professor on March 1, 1996, in the position previously held by Chang-Ho Park. Dr. Subramanian earned her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Her research interests are in the area of recombinant protein production, recovery, and purification. She teaches in the area of biological engineering and bioprocessing. She developed and taught a new core course for our curriculum entitled "Biology for Engineering" during spring quarter 1996.
