Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering: Alumni D-Tales
Back
The World Wide Web
The department has established a healthy presence on the world wide web. We have information
about the department in general, personnel, research programs (the complete text of our 1994
Annual Report can be found there, with the 1995 revision soon to arrive), and our teaching and
extension programs. The teaching program is represented by information about both undergraduate
and graduate studies, and also includes in-depth information about studies in some particular areas.
We're planning to expand the graduate studies portion by adding more material about some of the
other areas in which a graduate student can study. We've recently begun to develop a page aimed at
prospective undergraduate students where we're featuring our student branch officers by letting
them tell a little about themselves and why they chose biosysems and agricultural engineering.
We have all of our extension "Agricultural Engineering Update" newsletters on the web along with
links to other extension materials put on line by the Minnesota Extension Service. Our department,
student, and extension newsletters can be found there. Lately we've been noticing that our
publications relating to odor control have been quite popular.
