Have taken up golf and will probably go to Sun City, AZ or Jekyl Island, GA to avoid the cold. Have met with Joyce Keppel (Bob Keppel's widow) the last 2 winters in Tucson, AZ. Our 6 children are all in the Mpls. area and have supplied us with 12 grandchildren. I hope you are taking good care of my analog computer for animal shelter ventilation. A major 1994 activity was in Kazakhstan: 4 months total on 2 assignments, participating in preparation of a 10-year investment plan to improve that country's 2.5 million hectares of irrigated land. Kazakhstan presented technical and cultural challenges, new-to-me social experiences, friendly people, and fascinating scenery-all continuing to make life interesting and worthwhile.

Hongming Jiang (MS 1985; PhD 1991) I am now working in the environmental area, where professional registration may be important for public and/or consulting positions. I passed the Engineer-in-Training Exam in 1989 while in my PhD program, and the P.E. Exam in mechanical engineering (an easy path in my case) in April 1993. Hope to see all of you succeed in and out of school.

Joseph H. Eaton (BAE 1989) Advanced research engineer for 3M. Responsible for initiating and performing research and development leading to innovative ceramic processes, applications and technologies. Extension of these new technologies to the division/staff organization. As far as I know, I am the only agricultural engineer at 3M. Maybe they need more of us to help control some of these chemists and ceramists and keep them from destroying the entire laboratory. Just kidding! After 5 years, my job is still very challenging and interesting as we work on new technology that will mature 5-10 years down the road. I currently have no continuing education plans as my 2-year-old daughter 'controls" most of my time now.
