Bio-based Products Marketing and Management

BPMMfinal_4
Bio-based products, such as composites, building materials, paper, and a wide array of chemicals, plastics, and energy, are playing a greater role in our everyday lives and changing the way we produce and consume energy and industrial products.

Professionals involved in the marketing and management of bio-based products combine their technical expertise of bio-based products with business and marketing savvy to bring a host of renewable products closer to consumers. They serve a number of business-related functions in the bio-based products industry, including sales, marketing, quality control, and operations management.

Bio-based Products Marketing and Management is a specialization within the Bio-based Products Major offered through the College of Food and Agricultural Sciences.

Students in BPMM will take a combination of business and marketing courses in the Carlson School of Management and technical bio-based products courses in the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences.
